The Scream was created by Norwegian artist Edvard Munch in1893. The oil painting has become a popular representation of the human condition. First recorded as a poem in his diary, The Scream has become a visual representation of, “a great infinite scream through nature.” This piece is the best known in a series Munch created titled, “The Frieze of Life”.
The Artist Series artfully transforms paint strokes into paper strips using the ancient art of quilling. Each card takes several hours to make and reimagines a famous work of art into a magnificent greeting card that can either be sent and shared with loved ones or kept and framed as the work of art it is.
